Two years after I started this journey, the first iteration of geerly is now launched to the public.

As a keen runner averaging 2000 miles per year, I was finding it time-consuming and boring replacing my running shoes every few months, scouring the internet for the best price for a particular model in a particular size. Knowing many other runners with similar frustrations, I decided to do something about it.

The result is geer.ly – the new home of price comparison for runners. Our goal is to help runners of all abilities find the right running gear quickly and at the best possible price.

While we’re currently only active in the UK, we hope to add US support in the next few months. We have an ambitious roadmap of new features that I can’t wait to share.

AuthorTom Green
Tom is the founder of geerly. Based in West London, he found his passion for running in his mid-30s. He’s best at longer distances, and is a regular at the London Marathon, where he's edging closer to sub-2.40. He started geerly because he found it frustrating when shopping for running shoes spending ages trying to find the best deal in his size, and wading through verbose, waffling reviews clearly designed to appeal to search engines rather than be helpful to users. For geerly he's passionate about writing reviews that get straight to the point, and helping runners find the right gear at the best price.
